What our clients say about us

We partnered with Wellspring Nonprofit Resource recently on a project that needed their level of expertise and experience with Atlanta area foundations. Rather than ‘start from scratch’, we asked them to help us open the doors to those foundation executives who might have an interest in our education and community development project. They graciously stepped in and identified several key foundations in the Atlanta metro area and then assisted us in scheduling appointments and even attended many of the meetings. We are impressed with Wellspring’s level of foundation knowledge and expertise.

Wilderness Works found Wellspring Resource in 2017.  Their ample knowledge of local funders and their concerns repeatedly came in very handy.  When real understanding around the nonprofit funding arena is needed Wellspring’s command is a genuine relief. Their cheerful disposition also helps!

Since 2007, they have built a team that has consistently raised ten to twenty times more than they cost. I simply could not afford to not hire them.

We are a small, fast-growing nonprofit and this is our first time going through the strategic planning process as an organization. Wellspring invested the time upfront to ease the stress on our stakeholders and delivered us a clear, concise plan very quickly. The communication was seamless and what we thought would be an overwhelming and laborious process was executed so well, and we actually had fun! We are so appreciative of the support through the process and are excited to begin implementing our plan. Thank you, Wellspring Resource! We are referring you to our nonprofit partners.

Leveraging over three decades of nonprofit fundraising experience, Elizabeth Van Winkle Hornbuckle is passionate about developing strategies to help exceptional organizations overcome financial barriers that prevent program growth and success. Elizabeth started Wellspring in 2005 with aspirations of helping nonprofits increase their impact on the Atlanta community.

A graduate of Brenau Academy and Oglethorpe University, Elizabeth became the Development Manager for Atlanta’s Fernbank Museum of Natural History prior to its opening in 1992. There she managed all fundraising, including a $20 million capital campaign. She later served as Director of Development for Parent to Parent of Georgia, where she increased donations by more than 300 percent. At Foxhall Events, she worked with six figure corporate sponsors to ensure sponsorship value and benefits.

When she is not working, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and serving as a deacon at Peachtree Christian Church.

The Wellspring team is poised to put our extensive combined experience and network to work, generating significant funds for your nonprofit organization. In addition to our founders, Wellspring also has a team of directors that will ensure every detail is carried out to the highest standard.
